Anyone who works in production knows that the devil is in the details, and that starts well before your camera is rolling. Scheduling, parking, bathrooms, snacks, power, climate control, ambient sound, equipment needs, private changing spaces, hair and makeup spaces, wardrobe maintenance and storage - all of these are details you’d rather not have to work out every time. We built Big Sur Studios to be a high quality, cost-effective solution for production that solves all of these issues, and damnit, we want the world to know about it!

If you’re an up and coming creator trying to do a lot with a little, you might feel that a professional studio space is out of your budget. However, we have studio rentals beginning at $300 for 2 hours, which includes access to our full studio, lighting grids, and a powerful pair of high end color tunable LED lights to use for a key and fill: the Arri Orbiter and the Creamsource Spacex.

For longer productions we have half day rates (5 hours) for $600 and full day rates (10 hours) for $1000. Think you’re going to need multiple days? Reach out and we would be very happy to discuss bulk discount deals. We are a small business and we love working with other local creators to make their ideas come to life, regardless of the budget!
